Meet Coach Diego

Bringing a rich background from both local and international fields, Coach Diego has directly coached over 200 young athletes, shaping their skills and passion for baseball. As a distinguished 4-year varsity player, Diego earned his place on the South Bay First Team and was honored with the prestigious Cal Ripken Jr. Award, recognizing his leadership and commitment on and off the field. His experience extends beyond the U.S., having played competitive baseball in Mexico, where he further developed his technique and strategic understanding of the game. Diego’s approach to coaching is rooted in patience, precision, and fostering a love for baseball in every player he mentors.

Meet Coach Gannon

With over 250+ athletes coached, Gannon Delacruz brings years of experience in private training and high school baseball. He’s an NFHS Certified Coach and a former 4-year varsity player, earning accolades such as CIF Champion, All Moore League First Team, and Press Telegram Dream Team. Specializing in training athletes aged 7-14, Gannon focuses on building technique, mental toughness, and confidence in hitting, defense, conditioning, and mental strength. Committed to helping young players grow, Gannon’s passion is in fostering both skills and a love for the game.

Question 1: How long are Slugger Saturdays?

Slugger Sundays are 3 Hours Long

Question 2: What should my athlete bring?

Your athlete should come prepared with the essentials: a bat, glove, helmet, tennis shoes (no cleats), and plenty of water to stay hydrated throughout the session.

Question 3: What ages are allowed?

Ages 9-13 are allowed

Question 4: What should my athlete wear?

Your athlete should wear comfortable athletic gear: a t-shirt, shorts, tennis shoes (no cleats), and a hat to stay cool and focused during the session.

Question 5: Do you guys offer private lessons in addition to Slugger Saturdays?

Yes, both Coach Gannon and Diego offer private coaching programs to ages 5-14.

Question 6: Do parents have to stay and watch?

Parents are welcome to stay, but keep in mind that the event lasts 3 hours. We encourage you to drop your child off and enjoy some free time while we handle the coaching.
